Sample applications of the new Haller clamp 2A in the 3rd and 4th quadrant

Mounting of a suction tube

Sectional matrix contact matrix

Additional cotton roll lingual

Relatively drying during cementation

Sealing of the fissures 37 (18 US) und filling 36 (19 US)

Insertion of an additional cotton roll

Filling 38 (17 US)  occusal with suction tube

New Haller clamp with suction tube and with the buccal dry tip

Preparation for an optical impression of a bite registration (antagonist) for the CEREC procedure.  Both tongue and cheek are easily detained. The CEREC camera can be supported on the bracket in which the optical impression can be somewhat eased.

Sectional matrix, contact matrix with mounted Garrison ring. Needed are rubber dam forceps and ring forceps. Drainage and drying with the Haller clamp comes close to rubber dam technique, but is quicker and allows the removal of the ring and Haller clamp to permit the patient to close their bite for the last forming of the occusal surface. http://minimalinvasiv.de/m_data/contact_matrix.pdf

The elastic bands that come with the delivery allow for an artificial structure on a toothless gum surface. This can be helpful when working with CEREC 3D where correlation of preparation and antagonist was sometimes trying.

Correlation of preparation and antagonist with the CEREC procedure with mounted elastic bands and the new Haller clamp.

Fixation of an additional cotton roll

The new Haller clamp gives you the possibility to fix four cotton rolls which therefore leaves sufficient time for adhesive bonding in difficult areas.

The principle of gingival retraction in critical areas. The retracted segment are anemic. Hemostatic  threads , Electrotome or Laser treatment can be avoided in certain situations.

Secure fixation of four cotton rolls

Simple correlation using the CEREC technique. Tooth 46 (30 US) needs to be renewed. Acquisition of the occlusion.

These sample applications of the new Haller clamp, the  author is avowed rubber dam fanatic. Which in his view rubber dam seems to be appropriate in certain situations. E.g. root canal treatment on tooth 47 (31US).
